Contributors

Hello – I’m Helen, the photographer for this blog (and I love puddings). I may not be the prettiest of the original contributors but I’m sure you fellers will agree that I do have other ‘attributes.’

In this section I will introduce you to the ladies who originally sat around Kate’s dinner table and dreamed up this blog. Hopefully the number of contributors will grow as we get more ladies to join in with their own recipes ……. and if they don’t already have a photo, I will take one and add it to their blog post.

Although we all live in Ireland, we are a mixed bag of nationalities and occupations. We all have a common objective though: to get more men cooking romantic meals for the special woman in their life.

You have already met Kate in the “About Us” introduction so here are the others:

Anna – our mysterious eastern European librarian lady who will introduce you to some of the things women like to eat east of Berlin! She will also run a regular column called ‘Small Bites’ (see here for the first one) – which will be less about recipes and more about news and research that are related to men romanticising women with food.

-o-oOo-o-

Moira – the feisty Scot who likes her winter comfort food. She has promised us slowly braised lamb shanks as the first of her regular recipes and you can find that here. Moira works in PR so we are hoping she will get us some!

Jenny – a lady who, like me, loves her puddings….. especially chocolate ones! She also works in the restaurant sector and likes going out to restaurants so she may well find herself with a job reviewing them for Alpha Dog Food before too long.

-o-oOo-o-

Karen – our glam social media cover girl for Alpha Dog Food is into pasta and has promised a couple of Italian mushroom recipes. Dig into the blog and find them………… the first one is here.

Theresa – is our wine expert and will run our wine reviews page here and will write any of the regular posts related to wine. Theresa is a little shy so not quite as topless as the others! But she makes up for that with her knowledge of wine.

-o-oOo-o-

Sally – not to be confused with her sister Andrea below – works in HR (human resources) so she has been ‘volunteered’ to take care of new recruits (guest lady contributors/writers) for us. You can find her ‘New Recruits’ page here.

Fiona is an events organiser and is the big romantic in our group so she will have special responsibility for giving men the insight into how to really wine, dine and woo a woman with her regular posts. The first one should be out soon after we launch.

Andrea – sister of Sally above – claims that being an accountant, she can’t cook and isn’t romantic…. so she’s currently calling herself ,”blogger without portfolio.” I can’t see that lasting long. We will think of some speciality for her unique talents.
